A Call to Arms (so to speak)!
We’re getting close to launch day for Little Girl Mended! In preparation for launch, I’m reaching out to invite you to become a part of my street team, The Krauss Crew!
So what is a street team? A street team is a group of people who join together to support an author and help to get the word out about a book. It’s a way for an author (me) to connect with readers (you) and help launch Little Girl Mended out into the world!
Now you may be thinking this whole Krauss Crew thing sounds like work. While there’s a little bit of effort involved, the streets this team will be dancing on are mostly cyber streets. (Although you’ll be a part of brainstorming ideas, so who knows what you’ll come up with!) There may be “missions” like:
- Sharing the cover reveal (coming December 7) on Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, or any other social media you frequent.
- Sharing lovely graphics of quotes from Little Girl Mended on social media as launch (January 5) approaches.
- Writing and posting an honest review on Amazon, Goodreads, etc. (One of the most helpful things you can do!)
- Adding Little Girl Mended to your Goodreads list (if you have one).
- Talking up the book with family and friends.
These are just a few possible missions. I can’t wait to brainstorm other ideas with you!
So what’s in it for you?
- To make it fun, you’ll be part of a private Krauss Crew Facebook group where the whole Crew can get to know each other and share/brainstorm ideas.
- A signed print copy of Little Girl Mended.
- Recognition as a member of The Krauss Crew on my website (www.nikikrauss.com) and a link to your website/blog if you have one.
- Some Little Girl Mended swag (bookmarks, yes, but other “way cooler” swag too).
- Other fun things as I think of them!
