Great article! Simple and to the point. I think parents are overwhelmed by how to talk to their children about this but knowing it doesn’t have to be complicated can be very empowering to the parent and the child.

Always important to have a talk and to continue the talk. Good information.

So much better to have the seemingly difficult conversation now with children than to deal with the ramifications that continue through a lifetime after abuse occurs. Love the illustrations of this unique book and the perfect way Jon Holsten explains the private areas not to be touched by using a bathing suit.

I try to have this conversation with my kids every now and then. I love the swim suit idea!!! Brilliant.

Thank you for this reminder. I wish my parents had talked with me about this as a child. I will do better with mine.
